I have always been fascinated by these old galvanized steel ventilators that are found on barns and sheds. When I served in the Army, the building across from where we lined up for morning formation had them. I would watch the light from the sunrise slowly illuminate them while we waited. I always thought they looked like the head dresses worn by the characters in Persian Miniature paintings. There are two paintings in this series.
